Just a short distance from Port Carling and Bala, this charming cottage on Rickett’s Lake needed Fiona’s Garden Gate to add all the outdoor landscaping that would help make it the ultimate Ontario getaway.
In the front, visitors are welcomed with all new rock-edged garden beds and colourful seasonally planted urns.
The lake-side of the cottage takes you down the yard on a two natural granite walkways to all-new tiered garden beds with granite stone steps to a new deck and dock.
The amazing natural stonework continues with a water’s-edge firepit to take in the vista during the day, or enjoy around the fire at night.
