For the last few summer seasons the team at Fiona’s Garden Gate has been busy creating amazing gardens in the GTA, but also in northern Ontario. Here is one of the latest cottage landscape creations we are so very proud to share.
Perched on a magnificent point of granite overlooking beautiful Muskoka Bay, this newly built cottage takes full advantage of its truly unique setting. Fiona’s Garden Gate started with the front of the property by creating a welcoming first impression of purple and white with new planting beds and large custom-built raised wooden planter boxes that draw you in to the primary and secondary entrances.

A natural stone walkway takes you around the side of the property, past the new custom garden shed, to reveal the grand vista.
A huge new natural stone patio, raised hot tub with wooden surround and new garden beds lead to a custom cooking station. The amazing covered pergola, that had been built by the home builder, was elevated by installing natural stone on the concrete pad that surrounded it.
Granite steps take you down toward a seating area, and while everything is new to this property, it all blends seamlessly with the natural rugged Canadian landscape.
